Regenerative ABQ

Food sovereignty looks different in every community, but at its core, it’s about people reclaiming power over how their food is grown, shared, and stewarded. It means returning control of local food systems to the hands of the community and uplifting the farmers and gardeners who make that possible.

All of these farmers interviewed practice regenerative agriculture approaches, which are methods that restore soil, protect water, support biodiversity, and strengthen the future of our food systems. When we farm this way, we help weave a richer, more resilient web of life.

Regenerative ABQ was created to highlight the local farmers, gardeners, and food leaders who are doing this work every day. This website is a space to honor their stories, their knowledge, and their commitment to cultivating a healthier, more resilient Albuquerque.
